What changedBlack Forest Labs released FLUX 3 Image Klein, an image AI whose files anyone can download. A version built to use less memory runs on NVIDIA graphics cards with 8 GB.

The Decoder reports that Black Forest Labs has released FLUX 3 Image Klein. It makes pictures from text and edits existing ones. It can also use up to ten reference images and make pictures at 4K size. It is an "open" model, so the files can be downloaded and run on your own computer.

Black Forest Labs says a version built to use less memory fits NVIDIA graphics cards with 8 GB. It says one image takes under 9 seconds on an RTX 4070 card. It also says the model is 38 percent smaller than the earlier FLUX.2 [klein] and scores better.

In its own testing, Black Forest Labs says, the model ranks highest among open models. It says the model also beats Ideogram V4.5 and its own FLUX.2 [pro], which are closed models.
